The chloride discharge in winter from vehicles through spray into the adjacent embankment area and the immediate surroundings plays an increasingly important role in the area of ​​ecology and the protection of surface water and groundwater. In recent years, the water manager has been dealing with the issue of chloride and spray along roads in the embankment area. For two years, we worked on a sampling system and a methodology with which the chloride discharge into the embankment area through spray can be recorded.
