The construction progress of the 8th fish lift sluce by “Der Wasserwirt” is near completion.

The fish lift sluice at the “Kniepass” power plant connects the downstream water with the upstream water with a difference in height of 10 m. With this system, Trouts and Graylings are to be transported at the given location on the river Lech. The fish lift sluice was combined with a bypass channel (pond system) downstream.
